This is a 12' x 16' studio with an emphasis on organic design.  We used recycled or locally grown materials wherever possible.  The porch posts are saplings from the owner's property. The whole interior, including the ceiling is warm, welcoming wood.  The insulation is top notch, in keeping with that warmth!  Built by Iddins Woodworks.  I love it when I get to help Paul build!

 



Paul crafted the door from cedar harvested from our property. The darker lower panel is old (really old!) growth from Seattle.  Yes, the picture was taken before the threshold was installed.

Note the live edges on the trim of both door and window.
